Pisa is a wonderful city, close to the sea, one of the four ancient Maritime Republics, and home to many eminent historical personalities, such as Galileo Galilei, but also rich in beautiful monuments and attractions, beyond the very well-known Leaning Tower. The first stop is about exploring the city centre, to continue among monuments and beautiful places by the river Arno; the last part is around the Square of Miracles, or Cathedral Square, where it's possible to admire the famous Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and Baptistry.
In the afternoon the itinerary around the city of Pisa, take the road above is the ancient Roman aqueduct and then arrive at the Certosa di Calci an ancient monastery of monks dating back to 1366 in Baroque style and decorated internally with beautiful marble that is located a few kilometers from the city and that you can visit inside with the tourist guide on the spot. It is also possible to make another stop and visit the natural history museum founded by the University of Pisa that is located inside of the Certosa.
